You Won’t Believe How Much Pippa Middleton’s Wedding Cake Cost
In case you’ve been living under a rock today, you may have missed the fact that Kate Middleton’s baby sis Pippa got married to hedge fund manager James Matthew this morning in a regal Giles Deacon gown that was every bit fit for a Royal.
With Kate Middleton serving as “attendant-in-chief” and little Princess Charlotte and Prince George on hand to up the Royal cute factor, Middleton and Matthews 300 guests were in for a treat with regard to the style scene.
They were also reportedly in for a treat when it came to dessert — Middleton’s London-based Dominos Purchas cake reportedly cost $3,000 and “consisted of a four-tier fruit cake coated in white icing.”
Housed in a $100,000 glass palace for the reception, where guests were privy to an acrobatic performance from Supermarine Spitfire and a Beatles “Shout” tribute, we’ve yet to get our first glimpse at what is sure to be a stunning creation, but if the company’s other designs are any indicator, it will be well worth the wait. Check out some of their breathtaking masterpieces below.
