Here’s the Insane Reason the Internet Believes Justin Timberlake Still Loves Britney Spears
Justin Timberlake was speaking music to our ears when he announced several days ago that he “would absolutely” be down to work with his famed former paramour, Britney Spears. Yet, despite the fact that Justin has been in a seemingly happy marriage with baby momma Jessica Biel for four years now, the Internet thinks he has an ulterior motive for his enthusiasm: He still loves Britney.
‘Twas Britney that broke old JT’s heart all those years ago (14, to be exact), inspiring him to pen his hit “Cry Me a River,” and now, the Internet is having a field day with a moment they believe gave away the fact that he still harbors a flame for the “one that got away.”
The moment in question came during a joint interview with Anna Kendrick at the Cannes Film Festival for their movie, Trolls, in which the interviewer changes the topic to Anna’s character, which she refers to as “Pinky.”

At this, Justin visible frowns and his eyes dart to the side, where he seems to be having a rather lengthy moment lost in thought.
With the Internet being, well, the Internet, someone got it into their head that that long, far-off gaze at the mention of a children’s character could only be due to the fact that his former nickname for Spears was, in fact, Pinky (his, in turn, was Stinky).

While Justin does appear to be somewhere, anywhere else than present for the interview he’s currently in, we think this one might be a littttttttle bit of a stretch.
Our guess? He probably just thought of something he left out for his son Silas to get into or remembered that he forgot to pick up diapers.
