Here’s What Kim Kardashian Eats Each Day to Nourish Her Fit Bod
Kim Kardashian has been as public about her post-baby bod as she is about every other aspect of her life. From learning how to eat better to her intense workout routine, she’s not shied away from showing off the results of her dedication. And while we were already aware that she’s been using the Atkins 40 technique to achieve her goals, she’s now revealed the exact meals that make her delicious yet fit-bod-friendly daily menu.
Although everyone’s target should be individualized when using the Atkins 40 program, Kim aims for a max of 1,800 calories and 64 ounces of water each day. While her menu varies, she does like to focus on chicken as well as blueberries, hummus, cheddar cheese and melon. Sounds yummy!
Keeping a three-day food journal for People, she shared what a typical daily menu is in the life of a Kardashian post-baby. Breakfast included scrambled eggs with turkey sausage and smoked Gouda, along with four oz. of Greek yogurt with 1/3 cup of fresh blueberries on day one. For day two, she enjoyed chicken chorizo and cauliflower sauté with cheese and salsa, then hatch green chile, cheese and egg bake with arugula, as well as 1/8 of a honeydew melon for the final day.
Between breakfast and lunch was a snack to keep her going, which is surely needed with her busy schedule, along with caring for a toddler and baby boy. Kim either nibbled on an Atkins Harvest Trail Dark Chocolate Cherry and Nuts Bar, half of a small apple and two oz. of cheddar cheese, or a vanilla coffee frappe.
Lunch time is just as delish as the morning meal, featuring grilled lime chicken over spinach salad with a feta-ranch dressing on the first day, a turkey burger (with chipotle aioli, tomato, pickles and onions) for the second day and zucchini noodles with spicy chicken sausage on the third day.
Another snack comes before dinner in the form of either one medium carrot and four tablespoons of hummus, or a choice between an Atkins Harvest Trail Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Caramel Bar or an Atkins Harvest Trail Vanilla Fruit and Nut Bar.
When dinner rolls around, Kim can enjoy yummy options like lemon thyme halibut with sautéed green beans, slow roasted lemon rosemary chicken with asparagus or grilled chicken with cauliflower mac and cheese.
Each day Kim kept below 1,700 calories and, along with her fitness routine, it’s clear why she’s seeing some pretty impressive results.
