See What Pippa Middleton Wore for Her Very First Public Outing With Her Fiancé
Watch out, Kate Middleton: Pippa may be coming for your royal style status! Though its her sister, the Duchess of Cambridge, that tends to bask in most of the fashion-forward spotlight (and not for nothing: Check out Kate’s most recent red carpet looks), younger sis Pippa is coming into her own for her modern-yet-classic sartorial choices. The 33-year-old certainly did not disappoint when making her first official public outing with fiancé James Matthews.

Stepping out in a blue brocade Heta-Embellished Organza Cloqué Dress ($2,005) designed by Erdem (an English designer whose modern lacy, floral updates on classic looks is a perfect fit for Kate’s uber-buff sibling), Middleton was a vision. Part of the fashion house’s 2017 resort collection, which draws inspo from “young Japanese girls in 1930s dress,” the frock features a just-below-the-knee ruffle-tiered hem with a bejeweled floral neckline and pockets.
With the couple’s wedding just a few short weeks away, it’s an exciting first glimpse at the soon-to-be-wed couple, who revealed their big date early last month.
There’s no word on what Middleton’s wedding dress will look like or even who designed it yet, but between this latest on-point look and the showstopping style she donned back when Kate married Prince William, we’re on pins and needles waiting to find out. We’re chomping at the bit to see what kind of mod classic she winds up walking down the aisle in — and we’ve got a sneaking suspicion we’re not alone.
