Here’s What the US Gymnastics Team Members Want to Do After Retirement
With millions of people the world over dreaming of being a member of the winning US gymnastics team right now, the ladies themselves are surprisingly dreaming of a life a lot like many lead on a daily basis!
In a recent interview with Access Hollywood, Simone Biles (who may soon be headed to both Dancing With the Stars and/or Pretty Little Liars), Gabby Douglas, Aly Raisman, Laurie Hernandez and Madison Kocian revealed that their dream day jobs post-Olympic retirement are a lot more “normal” than one might expect. Well… some of them.
“I want to be a pediatrician!” Madison said, adding that she’d be totally fine with eight more years of school if it meant achieving her dream.
While Simone concurred that it would be a cool job and one that she’s considered herself, especially since she love kids, she wasn’t 100%. “I’ll be the new national team coordinator,” she said in retort to host Kit Hoover’s reminder than only four of the five women would be able to represent the team in Tokyo due to a downsizing of team sizes.

Aly, on the other hand, dreams of trading her leotards in for something slightly more… high fashion. “I love fashion, so something with that,” she said.
Gabby Douglas and Laurie Hernandez wanted to remain in the limelight, preferably taking on acting roles in Hollywood, though Gabby said she’d also be interested in “hosting a show.”“That would be cool!” Laurie said of acting.
We can see it… a young Mila Kunis, no?
