Mom Brain is nothing to be ashamed of.
Daphne Oz and Hilaria Baldwin, hosts of #MomBrain podcast, shared their best advice on how to juggle kids and life with Brit + Co founder and CEO Brit Morin. “There are only 24 hours in the day. The day doesn’t get any longer; you just have to push more into it,” Oz said. To learn how they make time for themselves and their partners, watch the video above.
Marie Kondo shared the trick to keeping a tidy home with kids.
It may seem impossible, but Marie Kondo, founder of the KonMari Method, said that, yes, it’s possible to have an organized home even with small children. “I used to be very set with a theory that all day long my house had to be organized. Now, during the day, it can be untidy,” she said. “In the evening, my children and I have this tidying up game together so we make it fun.”
Trap yoga is our latest obsession.
If traditional yoga classes make you feel a bit out of place, you might want to add trap music to your practice. Say, what now? “If you ever had chicken and waffles, those two things don’t seem to go together, but if you’ve ever had it before, it’s amazing,” Britteny AKA Trap Yoga Bae and founder of Trap Yoga said. “That’s what we’re doing here. We’re bridging two really awesome things to have self-care.” Still not sure? Just know that whatever you do is the right way to do it. “We are in the business of doing what works for us,” she said.
