This Celeb’s Adorable Baby Name + Announcement Will Make You Swoon

Alec Baldwin and his wife, Hilaria have welcomed a baby boy into the world. The yoga instructor and co-founder of Yoga Vida took to Instagram early this morning to share a heartwarming (+ totally DIYable, new parents!!) photo of the newborn baby boy grasping his mom’s hand. Hilaria captioned the photo, “We are happy to announce the birth of Rafael Thomas Baldwin.”
The couple first announced they were expecting a second child together back in January with a sweet photo on Instagram. As the sun sets on the beach Alec and their daughter Carmen looked excitedly at Hilaria’s growing baby bump. Hilaria captioned the photo, “2015 is going to be very exciting as we are thrilled to announce we are expecting another little addition to our family!”
Now, let’s get to chatting about that baby name. According to Nameberry, Rafael was the 293rd most popular name in 2014 and is said to mean “God has healed.” This spelling of the name is a Spanish version of the originally Hebrew name. Considering Hilaria was born in Spain, the name could possibly have some family ties.
