Hilary Duff’s New Haircut Will Remind You About the Importance of a Good Trim

Is it just us or is Hilary Duff kind of killing it on the hair front these days? A few months back the actress and singer traded her blonde locks for a not-so-subtle shade of mermaid green. Then, once she had had enough of that she swapped it for a gray and purple combo. Now Hilary has taken to Instagram yet again to share the results of her latest haircut.
In a snap Hilary posted over the weekend, she shows off her now-blonde-again locks alongside the caption, “Chopped a few inches off. Thanks @nikkilee901.” While it’s not as drastic a change as her previous looks, we have to admit that the fresh cut is seriously making us reconsider that trim we’ve been postponing.
If you’re looking for a fall hair update but don’t necessarily want to go rainbow or chop it all off into a bob, taking a few inches off could actually be the perfect way to not only give your locks a reboot but also change up your look just enough for folks to take notice.
