Hilary Duff Is Learning to Love Her Body After Years of Hating One Part in Particular
Hilary Duff’s love life has been a roller coaster of ups and downs in recent months (we’re talking about her breakup with Jason Walsh and now the new man in her life), so it’s a good thing that she’s learning to love someone pretty darn consistent in her life. Herself, natch. Though she admits, it wasn’t always so easy to do, as there was one particular part of her bod that she used to hate: her legs.
Some of us may still think of Hilary Duff as a super-smiley Lizzie McGuire-type in adult form. But, of course, she’s an IRL woman who faces the same kind of pressures and uncertainties that we all do. That includes how she views (and feels about) her own body.
Posting a pic of herself to Instagram looking perfectly happy and showing off her lovely stems, 29-year-old Hilary added the message, “I didn’t always love my legs, but as I’ve grown, I’ve learned to love and celebrate myself, just as I am. I began to realize that my legs are STRONG and they carry me every. single. day. Our bodies are amazing and something to be grateful for.”

She continued, “I’m ME and that’s really enough! Thanks for helping to spread the self love message @Aerie! Make sure to share your own message about why U love U for U Day! #AerieREAL #AeriePartner.”
That’s right, Hil, you do you because it really is enough. And that goes for all of you, Brit babes! Take your lead from Hilary Duff, who’s all about loving her bod and showing off her glam gams nowadays…
