Hilary Duff Was Spotted in NYC Dressed Like Cinderella
As anyone who grew up in the ’00s knows, Hilary Duff’s most memorable teen role (aside from Lizzie McGuire, of course) was that of high school waitress Sam Montgomery, the modern day Cinderella she played in the cult-teen classic A Cinderella Story.
Trading Cinderella’s rags in for a diner uniform and a glass slipper for a phone, Duff was the perfect 2000’s princess, donning a white (not blue!) ballgown and a masquerade mask as she danced with her Prince Charming (the dashing Chad Michael Murray).

Now, 13 years after the film’s original release, Duff was spotted looking like she was reprising her famous role, hitting the streets of NYC in a powder blue frock that would make even Montgomery jealous.

While the look turned out to be for a role on the TV Land series Younger, we can’t get over her fairy-tale transformation. Duff wore her hair up in an elegant ‘do, paired the gown with some icy blue drop earrings, and finished her outfit with some pink heeled sandals. The look was pure princess.
Welcome back Sam, er, we mean Hilary!
