This Is the One Thing That Gets Hilary Duff Majorly Stressed Out About Christmas
Christmas is undoubtedly a time of joy, love, and giving, but as Hilary Duff reminded us, it can also be a time of stress… particularly for parents.
Though the 30-year-old and big sister Haylie Duff are happy to go “all out” for Christmas (“We have very over-the-top Christmas. We like to pretend we don’t, but we do.”), the Younger star admitted to US Weekly that it’s not always easy. “I will tell you what’s most stressful [about the holidays]. Kids change their mind about what they want every five minutes,” she told the outlet.
Come to think of it, she’s also not particularly fond of wrapping. “Traffic, trying to run around, trying to make sure that I have everything for everyone, I don’t even wrap my own sh*t,” she quipped. “Like, I can’t. Trying to find what I need, all the Amazon sh*t that comes to my house, like, I can’t and I don’t wanna deal with it.”

Still, at the end of the day, it’s worth it to see her five-year-old son, Luca Cruz Comrie, smile. “Luca says the sweetest things to me and I’m just so appreciative of him. I can’t imagine my life without him,” she said. “I think it’s just like the daily routine of the things you do with kids that’s so special. It’s not like a big, extravagant thing that happens. It’s like the day in and day out of the relationship you’re building with your child.”
Well said, Hil!
