Would You Walk Down the Aisle in H&M’s $99 Wedding Dress?
2014 brides looking for a bargain might be in luck — H&M will debut its first wedding dress online and in stores later this month. And it costs $99. The white gown (below!) is long, cinched at the waist and features an embellished neckline. And it costs $99!!! So… under $100.
We know budgeting for your Big Day can be the ultimate game of give-and-take so whether you laugh in the face of bridal fashion tradition or are looking for a frock to rock at another wedding-flavored event, we rounded up a few other wildly affordable LWDs (Little White Dresses) you could pick up at H&M or on your next trip to the mall.
1. Lace Dress ($50): Sooo, you saved moola on the dress you wore for your ceremony and cake-cutting. We know what you’re thinking: costume change. FYI, we’re thinking: “If it’s appropriate to wear white at work, my coworkers might see me in this at our next meeting.”
2. Ethereal Embroidered Dress ($28): Pretty detailing on the front and a sheer back makes this little number sexy and sweet for a couple rounds of bachelorette party cocktails.
3. JOA Daisy Lace Shift Dress ($55): Wear this floral patterned dress to your garden party bridal brunch. Pinkies up, ladies.
4. Lace in the Sun Ivory Maxi Dress ($83): If you’re foregoing goin’ to the chapel and thinking “beach” instead, this dress would look gorgeous against the waves. We could see it dressed up with a floral crown or down with a pair of cowboy boots… Or a beauty with both.
5. Sleeveless Dress ($35): Dyed, this could even make for an adorable bridesmaid dress — love those polka dots up top!
What do you think: Would YOU wear H&M’s $99 dress for your wedding? Want to see more bridal looks from the store?
