The Ultimate Guide to a Ladies-Only Holiday Pajama Party
Happy Holidays, everyone! It’s Jordan from Oh Happy Day! The holiday season can be so magical, but it’s also a ton of work. Once I became a mom, I realized that Christmas was basically a giant party I was throwing for my family. My partner is of course really helpful, but the bulk of the planning, shopping and food planning falls at my feet. It’s worth it to create a magical holiday for the people I love, but it definitely makes for a hectic month. So this year I want to throw a Mom Pajama Party! Basically, it’s a girls night in where we can wrap gifts together, watch movies in comfy clothes and eat and drink. We’ve partnered with JCPenney to show you our take on a Christmas Pajama Party.
For this party, we made a good grown-up punch and hot cocoa, and stocked up on lots of cozy scarves, bathrobes, blankets and pajamas. We took something casual — like sitting around in pajamas — and made it a little glam by adding shiny details, disco balls, fancy glassware and confetti. It’s the perfect inspiration to throw my own casual glammy get-together with my friends.
Here’s the recipe for our grown-up punch!
HARD CIDER POMEGRANATE PUNCH
- 4 bottles hard cider
- 4 ounces light rum
- 4 ounces clementine juice
- 4 ounces pomegranate juice
- 2 ounces fresh lime juice
Just mix all the ingredients together and serve with ice.
