We probably don't need to remind you of Meghan Markle's A+ style. It doesn't matter what she's doing or where she's going, she consistently shuts it down with her Cali-cool vibe. Her pregnancy looks were particularly noteworthy because aside from stepping out in fashion-forward maternity label Hatch, she was able to look flawless without actually wearing maternity-specific items thanks to a few always-flattering wardrobe tricks. To see what we mean, swipe through to check out the Duchess of Sussex's best maternity ensembles, complete with styling tips.
Wear head-to-toe neutrals for a streamlined vibe: Markle visited The National Theatre on January 30, 2019 in London, England donning a matching Brandon Maxwell dress and blazer getup with a coordinating clutch and stilettos. (Photo via Karwai Tang/Getty)
Don’t be afraid to use strategic color-blocking: The Duchess of Sussex really went for it leaving the Birkenhead Town Hall on January 14, 2019 in Birkenhead, England in a bright purple dress from Babaton by Aritzia, a contrasting red coat by Sentaler, equally statement-making Stuart Weitzman pumps, and a Gabriella Hearst bag. Elongate your silhouette with a turtleneck design: Markle donned a white Calvin Klein turtleneck dress with an Amanda Wakeley coat, Ralph Lauren clutch, and Christian Louboutin heels while attending a gala performance of The Wider Earth at the Natural History Museum on February 12, 2019 in London, England. Opt for an empire-waist frock for a complimentary look: Markle visited the Andalusian Gardens in Rabat, Moroco on February 25, 2019 in a black pleated Loyd/Ford dress, a white Aritzia Babton blazer, Manolo Blahnik heels, and gold GAS Bijoux earrings. (Photo via Samir Hussein/Getty)
A flowy maxi will always work: For a visit with King Mohammed VI of Morocco on February 25, 2019 in Rabat, Morocco, the Duchess of Sussex stepped out in a custom Carolina Herrera floor-length dress with a gold Dior clutch and Cartier diamond earrings. (Photo via Samir Hussein/Getty)
Any all-black getup will be flattering: On January 31, 2019, Markle left the Association of Commonwealth Universities at City, University of London in a black pleated dress and coat by Givenchy, complete with nude Manolo Blahnik heels. (Photo via Mark Cuthbert/Getty)
A simple shift dress in an all-over print always a good idea: The Duchess of Sussex opted for an Amanda Wakeley coat over her printed brocade dress with a Wilbur and Gussie clutch and Paul Andrew suede pumps at a reception for the Prince of Wales at Buckingham Palace in London, England on March 5, 2019. And if you are going for actual maternity clothes — go for the best: Try Hatch like Markle as she visited Smart Works on January 10, 2019 in London, England wearing an Oscar de la Renta coat with a black Hatch maternity dress, patterned stilettos, and a Victoria Beckham structured bag.
