There’s a new healthy breakfast trend in town — acai bowls! Packed with vitamins and antioxidants (acai berries are a superfood after all!), they’re the perfect way to start your day. The only downside? They’re pretty spendy. So we decided to whip them up at home. Turns out, they’re super easy to make AND much easier on your wallet. Read on for three of our favorite ways to mix ’em up.
Acai Bowl Base
It all starts with the acai base.
Just blend a few handfuls of spinach, 1/2 cup of milk (or juice), honey and two acai puree packs (we used the unsweetened Sambazon packs) together in a blender. Ta-da! Easy as that.

– sliced strawberries
– blueberries

1. Combine spinach, cashew milk, honey and acai packets in a blender. Blend until smooth and pour into a bowl.
2. Top your bowl with sliced strawberries, blueberries, chia seeds, cashews and granola. Enjoy!
