Ready for a spring break getaway? Whether you'd prefer to sip a cocktail on a beach in Hawaii or glide down the slopes in Park City, we've rounded up a plethora of options that are perfect for you and your best girl friends. All of these locations have a few things in common: great food, gorgeous views, and lots of activities to choose from.
Amelia Island, Florida: Amelia Island is an often-overlooked Florida beach. The quaint Victorian-era city of Fernandina Beach is nearby and has lots of amazing bars, restaurants, and nightlife options. Head over to The Lobby Bar at the Ritz-Carlton to try a delicious cocktail made with their house-infused small batch bourbon. The island is also home to Florida’s oldest bar, the Palace Saloon, where you can rub elbows with the town's history. (Photo via Ritz-Carlton)
Vail, Colorado: Hit the slopes in Vail and make sure to ski into The 10th, which has amazing food, cocktails, and slippers that you can slide on while your skis wait outside. If you're looking for places to stay, The Lodge is right on the slopes, or you could go all out and rent the Game Creek Chalet, which has one of the most stunning views you'll ever see. Los Angeles, California: If you don't think of LA as a getaway, think again. Head over to Beauty and Essex for mini French dip sandwiches and crispy Thai shrimp, or Ronan for shareable small plates with family-style seating that's perfect for groups. For bars, check out Society Room, the speakeasy behind The Conservatory, or The Highlight Room on top of the Dream Hollywood for sweeping views and delicious drinks. (Photo via Dream Hollywood)
Cayman Islands: Head over to Stingray City for an Instagrammable moment with your besties, and then sign up for the Camana Bay Flavour Tour, which starts at the West Indies Wine Company and takes the group to multiple restaurants. If you choose the Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa, you can stay on the iconic Seven Mile Beach in an ocean-view room, residence, or bungalow. The resort also offers beach workout classes. Park City, Utah: Another ski town may seem excessive, but it's hard not to include Park City. The Montage Deer Valley has so many dining and entertainment options on-site (including a huge spa) that you won't even have to leave. The Après Lounge is the perfect post-ski Champagne break, while Yama Sushi and Apex offer delicious dinner options. (Photo via Montage Deer Valley)
Newport Beach, California: For a more laidback California beach option, pack your bags for Newport Beach. The Lido House resort is the perfect sophisticated, beachside retreat that is also home to Newport Beach's first rooftop bar, Topside. Make sure to check out Harborside and Billy's at the Beach for more delicious oceanside dining experiences. (Photo via Getty)
Honolulu, Hawaii: Is there ever a bad time to go to Hawaii? We say no. Stay at the Waikiki Beachcomber by Outrigger and make sure to take a break from all that sunshine to check out the Maui Brewing Co. and Hawaiian Aroma Caffe. This hotel is also in the perfect location to head over to Diamond Head for a hike with gorgeous views. (Photo via Waikiki Beachcomber by Outrigger)
Miami, Florida: Welcome to Miami! Your ladies will love the food at Taquiza, an authentic taqueria, or Fooq's, which specializes in Persian-French cuisine. And of course, it wouldn't be a trip to Miami without experiencing the nightlife. Head out to Basement for a quirky experience that features an adorable indoor skating rink, or LIV Miami, which is arguably Miami's most famous club. When it comes to lodging, we love the Soho Beach House for its Art Deco exterior and rooftop ocean-front views. Don't leave without walking down the Art Deco historic district and taking a cruise down Ocean Drive. (Photo via Getty)
Austin, Texas: Check out the Line Hotel, as well as Austin classics like The Peached Tortilla, which merges southern and Asian classics, and the amazing fried chicken at Hoover's Cooking and smoky goodness at Franklin's BBQ. For drinks, head to drink.well., ’70s-style Kitty Cohen's, or the speakeasy Midnight Cowboy. You can also take a stunning hike up Mount Bonnell or enjoy the 70-degree, spring-fed Barton Springs Pool. Charleston, South Carolina: There are so many amazing places to stay in Charleston, but we're going to recommend a classic: The Belmond Charleston Place. It's centrally located in the historic downtown district so that you and your girls can walk to restaurants, nightlife, and shopping. You can also take a walking tour of Charleston's gorgeous historic homes. Make sure to try out the oyster sliders at The Ordinary, as well as the Italian delights at Le Farfelle. As for beaches, head over to Sullivan's Island and make sure to grab a drink at Poe's Tavern while you're there. (Photo via Brittany Loggins)
Nassau, The Bahamas: There's nothing quite like the white sand beaches and calm turquoise waters of the Bahamas. And whether you and your squad want to lounge in the sun or pamper yourself with fine dining or a spa treatment, Baha Mar has it all. Just 15 minutes from Nassau airport, the resort has three hotels (trendy SLS, family-friendly Grand Hyatt, and luxurious Rosewood), a casino with ocean views, a night club, a spa, 10 pools, numerous restaurants, art exhibits and classes, retail shops, an animal sanctuary, and flamingos on site. Not to mention, you're just mere steps away from the gorgeous beachfront. (Photo via SLS Baha Mar)
