Holiday Newsflash! You Can Now Buy Christmas Trees at IKEA
We’ve already ooh’d and ahh’d over IKEA’s hygge-ready holiday collection. And now they’re back making our holiday decor shopping even easier. Their Christmas miracle? Affordable, no-mess Christmas trees. The FEJKA (which translates to “fake” in Swedish) is an artificial tree, and it’s only 50 bucks. At 71 inches, it’s a great substitute for a real spruce and is ideal for those who don’t want to clean up needles (um, isn’t that all of us?).
Unsure if the FEJKA will fit into your home and don’t want to pull the trigger without a preview? If you have an iPhone, you can download IKEA Place, an augmented reality app. With the app, you can insert the Christmas tree into your living room from your couch. No purchase required!
You can preview the FEJKA tree all decorated, shiny, and bright, and you can also preview other tree sizes if you decide to go the IRL tree route. Most importantly, you can see how a perfectly decorated tree (decked out with IKEA decorations, of course) fits into your living room decor while you’re still in your pajamas. Now that’s the gift that keeps on giving.
