IKEA Is Introducing Countertop Hydroponic Planters for Indoor DIY Gardening
IKEA, who JUST gave us tropical minimalist perfection with their TILLFÄLLE collection, knows that not everyone is lucky enough to have their own greenhouse or garden patch in a spacious backyard. They ALSO know that doesn’t stop us from wanting to enjoy fresh produce grown on our own. Coming up with indoor gardening ideas and indoor gardening hacks to make that not only possible but totally successful certainly helps, and IKEA wants to keep your green-thumb goals going with a super cool new product that will fit any living space, large or small. Their new KRYDDA/VÄXER series includes everything you need to get your own indoor hydroponics garden started right on your kitchen countertop.
“From tasty lemon basil to crispy red romaine lettuce — KRYDDA/VÄXER series makes it easy to grow your own indoor garden all year round,” IKEA’s Youtube channel tells us, along with the handy video that shows just how to get our indoor garden started. “You don’t need soil, sunlight or even a spot outside! How does it work? Just keep an eye on the water level, and that’s it.”
Not only handy for anyone whose home is spatially-lacking, the KRYDDA/VÄXER hydroponics planters would be ideal for anyone living in a colder climate, cloudy states or anywhere with nasty soil.
Get your shovels (or, apparently, plant plugs) ready, ladies, because coming out in April, this is a definite must-have for any and all trendy gardeners to show off their growin’ skills!
