Instacart Is Now Delivering Halloween Costumes
From the people who bring groceries to your door within an hour of placing an online order, now comes a costume delivery service. That’s right. Instacart has your Halloween covered by bringing the costume of your choice to your door from now up until 8pm on October 31. (Y’know, since procrastination is real.) Alright. Before you get too excited, we have to do some disclosing: The service is currently only available in Seattle, but we’re hoping to see it in other Insta-cities (ahem, San Francisco, Austin) by next Hallow’s Eve.
Instacart’s Operations and Growth Manager Stephen Klein said the team decided to create this special offering after fielding many customer requests. “For many people, going from store to store to find the perfect costume can be a huge hassle, and traditional online ordering can mean waiting days or even a week for delivery,” said Klein. Simply add a costume (or two if you’re really indecisive) to your cart, and Instacart will have it to your office or home in one hour.
And while you’re at it, don’t forget to add a few bags of candy for those trick or treaters who will be blowing up your doorbell.
It’s only one week ’til Halloween. Do you have your costume picked out? Let us know in the comments below!
