It’s two things you can’t live without: Drake and cake. Thanks to blogger extraordinaire Joy the Baker, you can now get two of your favorite things together in one singular sweet, and it’s quite frankly a combo so genius you won’t believe no one has thought of it before. Behold: Drake on Cake.
He started from the bottom, now he’s on top…. of cakes and pies (couldn’t help it!). Joy has taken some of the Canadian rapper’s most famous lyrics, such as “YOLO” and “No New Friends” and prettily frosted them onto some of her delectable creations.
The New Orleans-based blogger and baker has yet to publicly comment on the inspiration behind her cakes (and pies! Did we mention pies?!), other than to acknowledge them as her “passion project” in a blog post. But the account is not even two months old and has almost 30,000 followers, showing what a little creativity can do.
No word yet on whether or not Drake will feature the cakes at his new restaurant Fring’s in Toronto. The cakes aren’t currently for sale, sadly, but feel free to channel your expert DIY skills here. If you’re reading this, it’s not too late (had to!).
