Ireland Baldwin Just Got a Major Pop Culture Icon Tattoo
NY Fashion Week is in full swing and when Ireland Baldwin isn’t strutting her stuff down the runways of designers like Son Jung Wan, it looks as though she’s getting some new ink. The 19-year-old model is already rocking multiple designs including a family-inspired tat she got with her cousin, Hailey, but it looks as though she wanted to add a portrait of Mr. David Bowie to her collection.
The model showed off the new ink while sitting front row at Badgley Mischka’s runway show. Her tattoo artist, Jon Boy (who did her last tat, as well as Kendall Jenner’s tattoo) also shared a few pics of her new addition. The shoulder piece is pretty large in size, taking up most of her outer arm. The black-and-white number is relatively subtle but, in classic Bowie fashion, a bold flash of red really makes the piece pop.
The NYC tattoo artist also shared a snap of Ireland and her dad, Alec who apparently accompanied her to her appointment. Ireland seems to be on a tattoo streak, could this mean that a father-daughter tattoo is in the near future? It looks like we’ll just have to Insta-stalk and see.
