Dare You to Watch the Scariest Movie Trailer of 2017
In November of 1990, ABC aired an adaptation of Stephen King’s novel It. The two-part miniseries featured a demented clown named Pennywise (played by Tim Curry) who terrorized a group of fictional children. Real children who watched it had nightmares for months. Beware, ’90s kids — he’s baaaaack.

This September, the balloon-wielding clown from hell is coming to the big screen for an even more terrifying experience. Horror vet Bill Skarsgard (of Hemlock Grove fame) will be taking the scarring — ahem, starring — role this time around.
The film’s first trailer was posted to YouTube today and the internetcan’t stop screaming. In two and half minutes, there’s plenty to scream about: dark, claustrophobic sewer tunnels, way-too-curious children, a heart-thumping soundtrack, and, yes, Pennywise.
Good luck sleeping tonight.
