Khloé Kardashian Stole *This* Surprising Beauty Tip from Jennifer Lopez
The Kardashians may be beauty icons in their own right, but it doesn’t mean they don’t look to other celebs for inspo. Case in point is Khloé Kardashian, who just so happens to take her tips from Guess’s latest history-making spokesmodel: Jennifer Lopez.
The soon-to-be new mom dished on who she looks to for glam guidance to ET while promoting the upcoming second season of her show, Revenge Body.
The 33-year-old quipped, “If J.Lo can do something, I can do it too. That’s good enough for me!… I read about her like if she gives an interview, I’m like, ‘I gotta’ read it, what are her beauty tips, cause… look at that woman. It’s not normal.”
She also shared one of the top tips she’s picked up from her Queen, and the KUWTK star says it all has to do with getting your beauty sleep.
Not only does the “Amor, Amor, Amor” singer cite “sleep” as her number one beauty weapon, as Kardashian explained, it’s actually all about HOW you sleep. “I was always like, ‘What the hell are these lines on the side of my neck? I’m too young for this. What is this?’… ‘Are they [from] aging?'” she mused.
The culprit, however, was something else. “Aging [lines are] up and down,” Kardashian said. “When there are lines on the side of your neck, it’s from side sleeping.”
As ET explained, Lopez, 48, avoids creating lines in her skin by surrounding herself with pillows as she sleeps.
Beyond surface level issues, the megastar has also helped the Good American designer on a deeper level, teaching her to accept her body for what it is. “When I was younger, the look was heroin chic; we all loved Kate Moss,” she told People back in October. “I think Kate Moss is fabulous, but that’s something I never could have been.”
Luckily, she didn’t even have to try. “…I was rounder and chubbier. I thought, ‘who can I look up to?’ I loved Victoria’s Secret models, not that I wanted to be one, but they had bigger breasts and a little curve. Then J.Lo came around and… She’s the oracle. I totally looked up to her.”
Same, girl. Same.
