Janet Jackson Just Officially Announced Her Pregnancy

Though news broke back in April that Janet Jackson is pregnant and expecting her first child, the mama-to-be decided not to confirm the buzz herself, although she did release her super timely “Dammn Baby” video. Postponing her Unbreakable World Tour in May to focus on “planning” a family with her husband Wissam Al Mana, the singer and actress still refused to confirm that she was in fact having a baby (totally her right, BTW). But now that’s changed, as Janet Jackson has officially confirmed that she is pregnant. Eee!
The 50-year-old youngest sibling of Michael Jackson and aunt to Paris Jackson showed off her baby bump to People magazine, saying, “We thank God for our blessing.”

Since she’s been spotted in recent months shopping for baby items, this isn’t exactly a surprise, but it’s still happy news to have confirmed. A source revealed, “She is super excited about her pregnancy and is doing extremely well,” adding, “She actually feels very good about everything.”
