J.Crew’s Spring Bridal Lookbook Is Made for the Modern Bride
It’s about that time again. With the arrival of spring comes the onslaught of save the dates and bridal shower invites. Whether you’re ready or not, wedding season is just around the corner. And here to welcome it back is a new, totally gorgeous bridal collection from J.Crew.
As always, the looks are dependably low-key and super classic, but never in a way that feels boring. In the new collection you’ll find slim-cut, floor-length gowns for a traditional wedding, a shorter flapper dress that’d be perfect for a backyard ceremony and even a set of sequined shorts for the bride who’s all about testing those bridal boundaries.
One piece (or should we say pieces) we’re gawking over is the tank top and mini skirt combo. The skirt, which comes complete with tassels along the bottom, was practically made for a classy courthouse wedding. If you’re looking for a separates ensemble that’s a little fancier, try the layered tulle skirt with a blouse, or maybe even a t-shirt.
And for all you bridesmaids, you have not been forgotten. The spring collection offers a variety of designs in pretty much every color you could want. We’d pretty much wear them all, but two pieces we’re really digging are the minimal, high-collared crepe dress and the nude colored Jane Austen-esque Felicity dress. The real beauty of all these options is that they’re all simple and versatile enough to be worn long after you’ve helped your bestie say “I do.”
Now, these are all going straight onto that Pinterest wedding board that we may or may not have… We’ll never tell.
