With summer’s official arrival only a week away, celebs are hitting up the hair salon left and right. Kendall Jenner has a lob. Ariana Grande is now a blonde, and it seems like every other Hollywood star has decided to become a redhead. But there is another (and very unexpected trend) going down in Tinseltown this season: perms. Yes, really. Julianne Hough recently debuted the throwback look, and now it appears as though Jenna Dewan Tatum has jumped on board the curly-haired bandwagon.
The actress, dancer and wife of Channing Tatum took to Instagram yesterday to share this snap of her new ultra curly locks. She captioned the photo, “Anyone wanna bring back the spiral perm with me?” Well, if you had asked us before this photo that would have been a hard no, but damn. This actually looks kind of great.
When Julianne Hough shared the finished product of her perm a few months back, it also looked pretty epic. Perfect beach waves all summer? We never thought we’d say this, but we’re seriously considering consulting our stylist for this unexpected summer style.
