Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox caused a fashion frenzy when they showed up to toast (and tease!) George Clooney at the American Film Institute Lifetime Achievement Award gala in June 2018 in twinning floor-length black gowns. This wasn’t their first doubled-up style rodeo, however. The Friends co-stars have been hitting the sartorial scene on one another’s arms since the mid-‘90s! Scroll through for 12 times these two were BFF #stylegoals.

Seeing Double: Everyone’s favorite celeb best friends looked ravishing in matching black ensembles. Cox's one-shouldered Roland Mouret gown with a peplum waist and Aniston's Christian Lacroix gown with a knotted bow detail stunned while the duo spoke on behalf of George Clooney at the American Film Institute Lifetime Achievement Award gala. Classic Combo: In June 2018, the longtime pals donned smart black-and-white Chanel getups to the fashion house’s "Our Majestic Oceans" benefit dinner. While the looks were totally in sync, each was also distinct. (Photo via Stefanie Keenan/WireImage/Getty)
Sartorial Support: The music video vixens were all kinds of adorable at the 2015 screening of Cox’s Just Before I Go directorial debut, for which the woman-of-the-hour wore a red suede Jiltrois Paris frock. Aniston was on hand for support in a longline tux dress and knee-high boots.

Dressed Down: They didn’t need couture gowns to command attention at the LA premiere of Tripper in 2007 — both women looked fabulous in simple outfits. For Aniston, a gray turtleneck and jeans, and for Cox, a tan vinyl jacket over a white blouse with black pants. (Photo via Jeff Kravitz/FilmMagic/Getty)
Minimal and Sleek: LBDs were the order of the day at the 2006 premiere of Dirt, albeit with some asymmetrical and sequin variations. (Photo via FOX/WireImage/Getty)
It’s All in the Details: The stars went for daring designs on the SAG Awards red carpet in 2003. All eyes were on those ruffles and va-va-voom cutouts! (Photo via Gregg DeGuire/WireImage/Getty)
Classic Couple: The stylish pair joined forces with Aniston's ex-hubs, Brad Pitt, in some simple-yet-elegant black dresses at the Project A.L.S. "Friends Finding A Cure" gala in 2003. (Photo via Jon Kopaloff/FilmMagic/Getty)
Besties in Blue: Both leading ladies opted for blue at the 2003 Emmys. Aniston kept things short and sassy in a 1970s vintage Halston mini while Cox went for a full-length icy Carolina Herrera dress. (Photo via Jeff Kravitz/FilmMagic/Getty)
Glamorous Duo: Aniston's floral-print dress over pants and Cox's sparkly top with white trousers made these two stand out at the NBC 75th anniversary party at Rockefeller Center in 2002. (Photo via Bill Davila/FilmMagic/Getty)
Pretty in Pastels: The 2002 Emmy Awards proved to be a big night for Aniston, who took home the award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy series, and Cox, who shared in the show’s Outstanding Comedy Series win. They marked the occasion in complementary beaded pastel gowns of blue and peach, respectively. (Photo via Steve Granitz/WireImage/Getty)
Back in Black: We would STILL wear Aniston's badass triangle crop top/maxi skirt combo and Cox's pleather midi dress the gals donned to the 1999 SAG Awards. (Photo via Ron Galella, Ltd./WireImage/Getty)
Comfy and Casual: The RL Rachel and Monica showed us casual done right at a 1998 “A Time for Heroes” event benefitting the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, with Aniston in a pair of long shorts and a tee and Cox in her best athleisure-wear. (Photo via Steve Granitz/WireImage/Getty)
