Jennifer Aniston’s Husband Is Speaking Out About Brad and Angelina’s Divorce
When Angelina Jolie shocked the world with the news that she had filed for divorce from Brad Pitt, fans not only wanted to know what was up with the sitch, but also how Brad’s ex, Jennifer Aniston, was reacting to the disappointing development. Though Jennifer did in fact comment, now her husband, Justin Theroux, has something to say… and it may not be what you’d expect.
Despite the fact that Jennifer’s relationship with Brad ended in 2005 after just five years of marriage (amid rumors of Brad cheating with Angelina), and although Jennifer has been happily partnered with Justin since 2011 — and married in a loving ceremony last year — Justin finally felt compelled to comment.
Speaking to Business Insider, Justin commented carefully without a hint of spite, saying, “As a child of divorce all I can say is that’s terrible news for those children and that’s all you can really say.” Sympathetic and classy, dude.
He also added, “It’s boring to sort of comment on anything else. People are having a bad time — that’s horrible.” Boring may be a matter of opinion, but we can all agree that this divorce surely isn’t fun for anyone involved.
