Jennifer Lopez’s 10-Year-Old Daughter Is Taking Meetings for Her Own Book Deal
Jennifer Lopez is a woman of many talents and projects, and it looks like her kids have inherited her hustle too. Lopez shared the news that her daughter Emme came up with an idea for a children’s book and is in talks for her own publishing deal — and she’s only 10 years old.
“It’s a very special day,” the World of Dance star said in an Instagram story video on Thursday. “Emme and I are off to our very first book publishers meeting for an idea Emme had for a book.” In the video, the mother and daughter could be seen in the backseat of a car, with Emme happily holding onto her literary creation. “We’re excited. We have three meetings today.”
Lopez also posted a pic of the 10-year-old author buckled in and ready to go as she proudly showed off the front of her presentation binder for the book. The title was Lord Help Me!, and it featured an illustration of a young girl looking up to the sky in prayer as she smiled.
Lopez shares Emme and her twin brother, Maximilian, with ex-husband Marc Anthony. The couple split in 2011 but remain good friends and co-parents. The Shades of Blue actress recently hinted that she’s ready to make it official with current boyfriend Alex Rodriguez, whom she has been dating since early 2017.
“All women get to a point where they say, ‘Okay, what’s up?'” she told Jimmy Fallon of her recent Spanish-language single “El Anillo,” which translates to “the ring.” “Like, we’re good, everything’s great, what’s going on? Am I staying or am I [leaving]?'”
Rodriguez also has two children from a previous relationship, and he and Lopez often share moments of their blended family life on social media.
