Jennifer Lopez has always rocked an enviable shoe game. The singer/actress might still be Jenny from the block, but her taste in footwear has always been luxe (as evidenced by this ‘gram right here). Therefore, it was no surprise when she announced her collaboration with high-end shoe designer Giuseppe Zanotti back in July. And now, after much buzz, the Giuseppe for Jennifer Lopez capsule collection is finally here.
The six-piece collaboration includes knee-high gladiators, bedazzled booties, two leather handbags and, wait for it, two pairs of sneaker wedges. The collection is priced from $795 to $2,995.
“With Giuseppe, we created an ultra-modern, feminine collection of killer heels, sexy flats, and fashion-forward sneakers,” the singer said in a statement from the brand. “And as you would expect, there’s just the right amount of sparkle.”
Jennifer began working with the Italian shoe designer on the collection last summer. “I, like so many other women, love a great pair of shoes,” she said. “Whether I’m walking the red carpet, performing on stage or meeting my girls for lunch on a day off, shoes pull a look together and literally and figuratively lift me up.”
And YES, there is a sneaker wedge in the collection — but it’s definitely not your run-of-the-mill wedge circa 2013. This one is all J.Lo.
