While we’re *still* getting over Jennifer Morrison’s shocking departure from Once Upon a Time, the previously flaxen-haired actress just dropped another personal change that’s caught our attention. Morrison debuted a *completely* new ‘do — and it’s a total 180 from Emma Swan’s classic blonde.
The actress revealed a fiery red bob via Instagram, a stark change from her previous Champagne blonde hair color. Morrison posted two pics of the look within seven hours of each other; the first captioned “#red by @riawna !!! She’s did it again. Thank you ri-ri! You are always magical!”
Riawna Capri (AKA Morrison’s hair stylist who also works with Nina Dobrev and Julianne Hough) posted an absolutely stunning photo of Morrison rocking the recent dye-job, captioned, “My forever long client @jenmorrisonlive keeps me on my toes and surprises ME with a super rad change, ‘Riawna, I’m ready to go red!’ Well, good thing I booked out for a FULL Highlight and not a Partial! #901girl#AuburnForAutumn#ChangeIsGood.”
Morrison actually took her new coif out for a spin last night in NYC at the Only the Brave screening, and it looks just as good IRL as on IG.
OUAT fans are weighing in on the star’s new look with a range of comments, most agreeing that it’s out-of-this-world aaaamazing. However, some are questioning whether her hair overhaul is an attempt to shed her Emma Swan image for good. As one commenter put it, in the words of T. Swift, “Old Jennifer can’t come to the phone right know. Oh why? Cuz she’s dead.”
