Jessica Alba’s Daily Beauty Routine Is So Doable
With two daughters (eight-year-old Honor Marie and five-year-old Haven Garner), an acting career and a booming business, Jessica Alba is kind of a multi-tasking rockstar. Jessica launched The Honest Company, an online marketplace for toxin-free personal and baby care products, and expanded into Honest Beauty in 2015. As a result, her daily beauty routine is super streamlined — something every busy gal will appreciate!
Part of making sure your makeup is in top shape is by making sure you’re taking care of your skin. “Definitely moisturize, 100 percent cleanse every night,” she emphasizes, “Always use a sunscreen!” Honest Beauty’s Oil Free Moisturizer ($22), Refreshing Gel Cleanser ($22) and Beyond Protected Daily Beauty Fluid with 30 SPF ($28) are a few Jessica Alba-approved options to keep your skin healthy. Okay, so it’s probably not the first time you’ve probably heard all this, but all of these steps are SO IMPORTANT.
As for the beauty routine itself, Jessica always makes sure to curl her lashes, keep her concealer handy and toss some kind of a lip product, like her Lip Gloss ($18) in Generous Kiss or Truly Kissable Lip Crayon ($18), in her bag. To keep things rosy, Jessica opts for a cream blush instead of a powder one.
As for her million dollar product? She swears by Magic Balm ($18). “I love Magic Balm,” she tells us, and it’s pretty easy to see why. The multitasking balm is made with a mix of fruit and botanical oils and is super hydrating (even for your cuticles!). You can also use it to highlight your cheekbones.
And to keep herself looking fresh all day, Jessica packs a hydrating mist, like Honest Beauty’s Elevated Hydration Replenishing Mist ($16) in her bag at all times. Pro-tip: spritzing your face a couple of times through out the day is a great way to refresh your foundation and keep it from settling down into your pores.
