Wedding season is upon us, and thus, time to step up our cocktail dress game. Jessica Simpson did just that at a friend’s weekend wedding by opting for a Dolce Gabbana Cocktail Print Dress ($3,995).
The plunging v-neck dress features lace trim, a fluted hem, and jeweled button cuffs. The wedding hashtag for celeb hairstylist (and festival braid pro) Christine Symond’s nuptials to fiance Mark Epstein was appropriately #Marteenie, which Simpson fully committed to, with the martini-plastered (pun) dress.
Wedding guests also included Chelsea Handler, who posted a black and white Instagram photo of the ladies and new bride enjoying the festivities. “Wedding weekend…so much fun!” Handler captioned the photo.
Simpson appears to be having an event-filled 2017. Last week, the Abiline, Texas native returned to the lone star state to celebrate the birthday of her grandmother. While there, she also attended a style event to support the Waco Boys and Girls Club with her beautiful family — husband Eric Johnson and their kids, Ace Knute (three), and Maxwell Drew (five).
