The Trendy Color Joanna Gaines Is Loving for 2018

When Joanna Gaines talks, we listen, and that’s why we know what the It color for 2018 is going to be. The Fixer Upper star/designer collab queen/mom extraordinaire tipped us off to our new favorite hue on Instagram when she shared serene snaps of her sister-in-law’s own recent fixer-upper. And the deep blue tone just proves that Gaines’ eye for envy-inducing design is undeniably on point.

Gaines calls the color “weekend blue,” evoking notions of a getaway vacation someplace beachy and tropical. (We can dream!) But the saturated shade also feels surprisingly elevated and modern, and it looks great everywhere. In fact, once we started looking, we saw it pop up all across her account.
