Here’s the Photographic Proof That a Jonas Brothers Reunion Could Be on the Way
It’s been just 10 days since the the Jonas Brothers mysteriously reactivated their dormant Instagram account, but that’s proved plenty of time to drive fans into a an absolutely frenzy, with rumors of a reunion running wild. The theory definitely seemed to hold merit when the trio’s former touring bandmate, Ryan Liestman, posted a snap of himself with the siblings strategically captioned, “Family reunion.” Now, Kevin and Joe Jonas are adding fuel to the fire with a mysterious snap of their own that has our teenage hearts aflutter.
Taking to Instagram Friday night, Kevin, 30, uploaded a black and white photo of himself looking extremely pensive while caught up in an exchange with brothers Joe and Nick on what appears to be a staircase. While it looked innocent enough, there may be more here than meets the eye.
That’s because, for starters, it’s been ages since the father of two used his personal feed to upload anything other than images of his growing family, with only the occasional vacation or music-centric snap for variation (To give you some context, the three men haven’t been photographed on the red carpet together since 2014.)
What’s more, almost in tandem, Joe shared a colored version of the exact same pic, writing simply, “The Boys.”
The band officially called it quits in October 2013, cancelling a 19-city fall tour and failing to complete their fifth album, V, with no word on a reunion since.
Nick, now 25, admitted it was he who pumped the breaks, telling Good Morning America, “I came to the table with the guys just before we were prepping to leave for tour, and I shared my heart with them, my feelings… I said, ‘Look, I feel like we’ve had some complications within the group for a long time without addressing them. I think this train will fall off the tracks without really getting real about some of the concerns and some of the limitations that we may feel as individuals in the group.'”
Fingers crossed the Jonas brothers are ready to make magic together once more!
