Almost the moment Selena Gomez and The Weeknd were spotted locking lips, a whole SLEW of ish hit the fan for the reported new couple, coming from those close to her #squad (squad member Gigi Hadid’s sis Bella, AKA The Weeknd’s ex-girlfriend, was none too pleased), as well as from fans who are blaming the 26-year-old singer for Selena’s drinking. The latest person to join the negativity train? None other than Selena’s ex, Justin Bieber.
When TMZ spotted the Biebs leaving restaurant Delilah in West Hollywood, they simply couldn’t help but ask the 22-year-old about the fellow Canadian who just so happens to be courting his first love. When the cameraman asked, “Can you listen to a Weeknd song?” Justin wasted ZERO time in responding, using the opportunity to throw some major shade.

“Hell no, I can’t listen to a Weeknd song,” Bieber replied without missing a beat. Asked why that is, he didn’t hesitate for a second before declaring: “That sh*t’s whack.” Eek! Sounds like J.Biebs and The Weeknd won’t be collaborating on any tracks any time soon… or, you know, like, ever. Could it be that Justin still has feelings for Selena and is feeling the sting of jealousy, or does he genuinely find it impossible to rock out to “Starboy?” We find the latter a little hard to believe…
