Rainbow hair has been having a moment with ladies for some time now. But hey, who says girls get to have all the fun? From the looks of Justin Bieber’s recent Instagram photos, it appears as though the performer has gone and got himself a brand new purple hairstyle.
The 21-year-old’s bold new ‘do shouldn’t really come as a surprise considering a signature hairstyle has kind of been a must for Justin ever since the get-go. After his infamous shaggy locks, Biebs went on to a high and tight style only to follow that up with that Kate Gosselin-inspired cut he debuted at the VMAs last year.
Justin took to Instagram yesterday to show off the next phase of his hair evolution. If you can get past that uh, six pack and towel situation you’ll see that his bleached locks have been replaced with a light purple hue.
Justin’s never been afraid to decide on an unconventional hairstyle all on his own, but we’re getting the feeling his rumored new gf Hailey Baldwin might have influenced this look. Justin shared a photo of himself wearing cornrows last week alongside the caption, “Hailey made me get corn rows like an absolute douche bag.” And after looking through some old snaps of Hailey, it seems as though she’s also previously sported lavender hair. Are matching locks the newest way to make a relationship official? We’re going go with a firm no on that, but wouldn’t it be great if that was the case?
