While Justin Bieber tries to fight his Pokemon Go addiction and Selena Gomez is busy doing some SERIOUS self-reflection, the Biebs’ mom, Pattie Mallette, is working overtime in an effort to get her son back together with his one true love.
Selena recently celebrated her 24th birthday, giving Patti the *perfect* opportunity to play cupid. It started out innocently enough, when she took to Twitter to wish her would-be daughter-in-law a happy b-day. “A birdie told me it was your birthday,” she started. (Totally chill, right?)

Then came the real surprise: a SECOND tweet, this one even sweeter than the first and, again, completely public. “I am blessed to know you,” wrote Pattie, making it awfully clear that she, like us, misses the good ol’ days of Jelena. “Celebrate this precious day you were born! Don’t let them get to you. Keep UR peace & joy #LoveWins” she concluded.

Most telling of all, however, was when @saveJustinsmile tweeted “SAY THAT JELENA IS STILL ALIVE…” AND PATTIE LIKED IT.
