5 of Kate Middleton’s Top Maternity Looks + The Duchess Reveals Her Due Date!
If there’s one lady who can make pregnancy style look like a breeze, it’s definitely the Duchess of Cambridge. So much so in fact, that she might be giving Blake Lively a run for her money. The English beauty has remained relatively tight-lipped in regards to her second pregnancy (with the exception of that rumored baby name a while back), however, she did recently announce that she and Prince William are expecting to welcome their newest family member as soon as next month!
E! News reports that Middleton made the announcement at a coffee breakfast for volunteers at Brookhill Children’s Centre. After Kate’s visit, a volunteer told reporters, “I asked when her baby is due and she said mid-to-end of April.” Looks like you better get those baby name bets in while you still can.
Although we don’t know much about the second royal baby, we do know one thing: Kate makes maternity fashion look anything but frumpy. If you’re rocking a growing bump and looking to copy a few of her best looks, here are five ways to do it — affordably!
Skate Wrap Dress ($63): The good news? You don’t have to settle for a look that’s similar to the Dutchess’ spotted dress. Her dress is actually from ASOS. The bad news? A million other ladies figured this out and now it’s sold out. You can either wait until the dress comes back in stock or if you’re too impatient for that, opt for this fun wrap dress.
Maternity Shift Dress ($90): Play with contrasting patterns and a ’60s silhouette in this spring-ready shift.
Animal Polka Dot Skater Dress ($50): If you just can’t wait for that spotted dress, ditch the v-neck for a high collar and opt for this animal inspired number. If you’re digging the print but not the long sleeves, try this dress which still features a fun animal motif but with a more springy spin.
Belted Maternity Coat ($100): If it’s still going to be jacket weather for awhile where you are, copy Kate’s sleek St. Patrick’s Day ensemble in this minimal coat with a clean collar and hidden buttons.
Kate Dress ($126): You don’t have to let your little one’s future nursery have all the pattern fun. Copy Kate’s playful print and shift dress combo in this number that’s aptly labeled the “Kate Dress.”
