Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton Twinned in Royal Shades of Blue for Their First Joint Event
Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle may be trendsetters in their own right, but put them together and you’ve got a serious style moment! We first got a glimpse of the duo side by side when Markle participated in her very new, very large family’s Christmas festivities, posing next to her future sister-in-law in a chic Sentaler tan wrap coat. Now, she’s teamed up with the Duchess of Cambridge once more for the first annual Royal Foundation Forum, and needless to say, the ladies were dressed to impress.
Both women adopted an appropriately royal color — blue — for the occasion, with the former Suits star going for a modern business look with a midnight satin belted Jason Wu Wrap Dress ($1,795) Aquazzura Casablanca ankle strap heels ($750), and what appeared to be a pair of Isabel Marant hoops. Middleton, on the other hand, went for a softer look with a light blue three-quarter sleeve dress by Séraphine, a silver watch, and navy heels.
Both women kept it simple on the beauty front, leaving their makeup minimal and their hair down in loose waves. They also sported what may have been their best accessories of all — matching megawatt smiles.
The forum showcased some of the programs that have been launched since the foundation’s inception in 2009 (Invictus Games, Head Together, etc), and plans for its future, which, with the addition of Markle following her May 19 wedding to Prince Harry, will include plenty of support for women’s rights.
We can’t wait to see what these two dream up next on both the professional AND style fronts!
