Will “No Photoshop” Be the New Photoshop Trend of 2015?
Photos from Vogue Italia of Kate Moss, who is about to turn 41 btw (we don’t believe it either), are bringing us back to the glory days of our fave decade — that’s the ’90s, duh. Back then, Photoshop wasn’t an essential for every photo you saw in every magazine and in Kate’s all-natural shoot, we’re totally remembering why. Seriously, we can’t take our eyes off the beauty that is Kate’s natural glamour.
The unretouched photos of the model, who wore minimal makeup and rocked a natural hairstyle for the shoot, were shot by German photographer Peter Lindbergh for the Italian fashion magazine and we’re hoping the all-natural look becomes a trend in 2015 for celebs + everyday ladies in general.
Last year, we made some moves back to the natural look as celebs took #nomakeup selfies, ModCloth took an anti-Photoshop pledge and Gisele Bündchen posed makeup free for a Sonia Rykiel campaign by Juergen Teller. Fingers crossed 2015 takes 2014’s semi-trend and makes no Photoshop permanent because we are beautiful just the way we are. And, after all, we’ve seen how wrong the editing tool can go (YIKES!).
Do you love the all natural looks as much as we do? Let us know in the comments.
