Kate Spade + Jack Spade for GapKids Is All Kinds of Cute
It doesn’t take much for Kate Spade New York to make us feel like kids again. Between bags that are a dead ringer for to-go boxes, glitter-drenched oxfords and beyond cheeky accessories, the happy-go-lucky brand is famous for churning out whimsical pieces that make choosing your outfits feel like playing dress up. So it only seems natural that KSNY, along with its men’s line Jack Spade, has designed a limited-edition clothing + accessories line just for youngins. The joint collaboration with GapKids is set to be released just before the holidays and, as expected, the collection is Christmas card-perfect.
The brands’ playful fingerprints are all over their first-ever children’s line, from candy cane-striped tights and gift bow-topped flats for her to googly-eye printed tops and camo coats for him. As you can tell from the adorable lookbook, mixing + matching (+ jumping + goofing) are highly encouraged — and who doesn’t love a clothing line that encourages kids to tap their imaginations? This is the next gen of #OOTD takers, need we remind you.
What’s more is that these clothes *could* (and would) be worn by any adult — as kooky as these party-ready looks may be, they’re nothing short of glamorous, a trait we’re glad KSNY stuck with when designing for the younger set. Truth: we’d wear that bow-print head-to-toe, with or without a matching mini in tow. Mark your cals for October 30, when the line becomes available in select Gap stores and on gap.com through November 4 only.
