This Gossip Girl Alum’s Engagement Ring Will Make You Swoon
David Cassidy’s little girl is all grown up and getting hitched! The Arrow‘s Laurel Lance may not have gotten a fairy-tale ending on the show, but it looks like she’s headed for happily ever after IRL, as her boyfriend has just popped the question!
Katie Cassidy, who you may also recognize as Juliet Sharp from Gossip Girl (XOXO), said yes to boyfriend Matthew Rodgers over the weekend while the two were on vacay at a luxury Oberoi Hotel on the island of Mauritius in East Africa.
The 30-year-old gave us a glimpse of her stunning ring, and the massive Marquise-shaped diamond Rodgers chose is breathtaking enough to have anyone seeing heart eyes. “I can’t wait to spend forever with you my darling!!” Cassidy captioned her pic. “I <3 you to the moon and back, @mattyice432. Thank you for a magical evening I will forever remember.”
We also got a closer look from a fan account (not that we needed it with a ring this size!), who blew up a sweet shot of the pair holding hands while sharing a smooch at dinner.
It appeared to be the perfect ending to the couple’s trip, which included jumps in the pool and leisurely walks by the ocean. “You jump, I jump. #neverletgo,” Cassidy quipped.
