‘Arrow’ Star Katie Cassidy Married Matthew Rodgers in a Dreamy, Sun-Kissed Wedding
Katie Cassidy is a married woman! The Arrow actress tied the knot with fiancé Matthew Rodgers this weekend and shared the exciting news on Instagram after saying “I do” in an intimate Florida ceremony.
“I can’t help falling in love with you … YES!” she captioned a sweet, sun-kissed snap of her and her groom. “It’s official! #MrsRodgers I love you my husband.” Cassidy, the daughter of late Partridge Family star David Cassidy, wore a stunning long-sleeved, lace Pronovias wedding gown, while Rodgers wore a white jacket paired with a matching black bowtie and slacks.
According to People, the couple married in an intimate outdoor ceremony in Sunset Key, Florida, a resort island in the city of Key West.
Cassidy first revealed the news of their engagement back in July 2017. The Gossip Girl alum announced the news via Instagram, with a pic of her flashing the stunning Marquise-shaped diamond ring as the two shared a kiss.
“I can’t wait to spend forever with you my darling!! I’m the luckiest girl in the whole world,” she wrote. “I ️love YOU to the moon and back @mattyice432 Thank you for a magical evening I will forever remember.” The proposal took place while the two vacationed at a luxury Oberoi Hotel on the island of Mauritius in East Africa.
