Katy Perry Just Hit the World With 2017’s “Left Shark” at the BRIT Awards
Katy Perry has definitely been making a splash as of late. Between her super short new blonde ‘do, her new hit single “Chained to the Rhythm,” and her CoverGirl mermaid collab, girl is making a comeback in a big way.
Last night, she cemented that fact even further by performing at the BRIT Awards and inadvertently giving everyone our next Left Shark. You might recall Perry’s epic 2015 Super Bowl performance, in which one of her dancers (AKA Left Shark) just couldn’t quite seem to get with the “rhythm” (ironic, no?). They instantly became an internet sensation, with people even dressing up as the creature for Halloween.
Now, it’s not a shark, but a house that’s stealing the show and everyone’s hearts. In a nod to her single, which references living in a picket-fenced utopia, Katy took to the stage with dancers dressed in house suits which began to move unexpectedly mid-performance.
Only one house didn’t quitttteee get the moves down 1,000 percent, as it accidentally took a wrong turn toward the end of Perry’s tune and marched itself right offstage. Whoopsie! Suddenly, a star was born.
I can't cope with one of Katy Perry's many houses falling off stage 😂😂😂😂 pic.twitter.com/n5gaokDxIu

Though it wasn’t obvious in every video, Twitter user @GaryPounder gave us a good, direct glimpse at the house in question…

Okay, seriously? We’re crying laughing — although we seriously hope that house is okay! What a nasty tumble!
