Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have kept a relatively low profile since coupling up back in March, choosing to use small signs of acknowledgement — like matching Met Gala accessories — over sweeping displays of affection like some of their peers (we’re looking at you, Channing and Jenna Dewan Tatum!).
Still, it looks like the duo has reached an important relationship milestone, Selena Gomez rumors be darned: They’re Instagram offish!
While in France for the Cannes film festival, Katy posted this shot of her and Orlando in matching his-and-hers robes on the front steps of Hotel du Cap Eden Rock this morning, along with the cute caption “We Cannes-t.”
Keeping with their low-key MO, the nod is a subtle one to be sure (no Chloe Grace Moretz-style kissy-face close-ups here!), but a nod, nonetheless — and a rather amusing one at that. Leave it to Katy and Orlando to turn an elegant affair into an insanely goofy adventure.
