Kendall Jenner’s Canadian Tuxedo Look Is Somehow Cool AND Affordable
Wearing denim with denim is a notoriously risky style move that few try to pull off… that is, unless you’re Britney Spears or Justin Timberlake circa 2001, of course. But Kendall Jenner just made the case for rocking denim-on-denim, showing off a blue jeans look from head-to-toe that somehow totally works.
The supermodel stepped out for a bit of fun at a basketball court in Los Angeles wearing the cool girl’s version of a Canadian tuxedo, aka, one that you’ll actually want to wear. And the best part? Her entire look is under $200, because it’s from your favorite mall store.
Jenner showed off a classic pair of high-waisted skinny jeans from American Eagle’s new Ne(X)t Level Jean Collection, wearing the brand’s AE Ne(X)t Level High Waisted Jegging ($50). The new collection features a 360-degree stretch for maximum comfort and support and is available in sizes 00 – 20 with extended lengths.
Though she could’ve paired the jeans with pretty much anything and it would’ve worked, Jenner chose the AE Denim Cami Crop Top ($35), topping it off with the AE Corduroy Denim Jacket ($70). She even pulled her hair back with a scrunchie from the brand’s AEO Denim Scrunchie 3-Pack ($10), taking on another throwback trend.
She added a denim Chanel bag and only one non-denim item, a pair of white and pink kitten heels. It may not seem the most practical footwear choice for shooting hoops, but she is a supermodel after all.
