Kendall Jenner Has Some Words for Her Ballerina Haters
Kendall Jenner may be busy launching her photography career and tending to her duties as a new aunt, but it seems she still can’t get away from the controversy surrounding her ballet-inspired photo shoot for Vogue España (recap: Real dancers around the world were annoyed AF, with even Zendaya throwing shade at the 20-year-old model).
Though she tried her best to ignore the haters by simply turning off their comments, it seems the young model now has something to say about the incident. Taking to her app, Kendall published a post titled “About That Ballerina Photo Shoot,” in which she finally addressed all the haters criticizing her bad form and accusing her of mocking the art of ballet.
“It’s so funny that people are getting pregnant and married — or having crazy drama — but my drama is ballerinas being upset at me!” she wrote. “With my Vogue Spain shoot, I didn’t even know I was going to be a ballerina until I went into hair and makeup. I never said I knew ballet and I didn’t practice beforehand. I just show up to do my job!”

She went on to add that “It confuses me how people can get that upset when there are so many important things going on in the world. But, it’s obviously not going to stop me from working hard and being me.”
It’s clear that Kendall is sticking to her guns on this one and won’t be apologizing for her controversial shoot any time soon. All we can say is, you keep doing you, Kendall!
