More Kardashian Merch Is Headed Your Way in the Form of a Kendall Jenner Jewelry Collab
We don’t have to tell you that the Kardashian family is a marketing machine. Kylie Jenner has her eponymous cosmetics line, which is soon to be rivaled by big sis Kim Kardashian-West. Khloé Kardashian has her denim line Good American, while Rob Kardashian is behind Arthur George Socks.
The eldest Karjenner daughter, Kendall, is no stranger to the merchandising game thanks to her shared clothing line with Kylie, and she’s now adding more to the mix thanks to jewelry company Ippolita, who has just named the 21-year-old as a creative collaborator.
“We couldn’t be more excited to announce our new collaboration with @kendalljenner, exploring the style of I through the lens!” the brand wrote on Instagram.
Ippolita Rostagno, the company’s CCO, chatted with InStyle to offer some insight into the decision to bring the model onboard. “My jewelry comes from a place of art and personal expression,” she said. “Therefore, I love collaborating with artists and style influencers. I’m thrilled to have Kendall represent the brand — she has a wonderful fashion sense and enviable ease about her.”
She isn’t just talking about on the runway, either. Speaking with W, Rostagno praised the young entrepreneur further still, saying, “Beyond the hype, she’s a real style maven, and to me, the clearest indicator is what she looks like when she’s not in the spotlight. Looking cool and sexy at all times is very much part of her MO and that’s very much my point of view as well.”
According to the outlet, the line will include no less than 80 pieces, all of which will be marketed at far more varying price tags than we’re used to seeing from the brand, at anywhere from $195 to $55,000.
Though there’s no official word on when the line will drop, we do know who we can expect to see modeling it in the campaign: Jenner is pulling double duty as the line’s face, as shot by photographer Ryan McGinley and Jenner herself for a selfie.
“This is a very selfie-obsessed culture, and it’s very, I found, tongue-in-cheek,” Rostagno told W.
We can’t wait to get a peek!
