Keeping Up With the Kardashians closed out its 14th season with a bang, with Khloé Kardashian revealing the happy news that she and boyfriend Tristan Thompson are expecting a girl in the show’s recent finale. Though the 33-year-old may have been more prepared for a boy, particularly in the name department, she’s clearly over-the-moon about welcoming a daughter into the family: a fact she made loud and clear with the extravagant pink baby shower she held for her little girl over the weekend.
After reportedly being rained out of the courtyard, the family’s party was moved to the Grand Ballroom of the Hotel Bel Air in Los Angeles, which party planner Mindy Weiss transformed into a pink masterpiece, filling it with pink balloons, pink flowers, and pink mood lighting. The décor also included some seriously Insta-worthy floral elephants crafted by celebrity flower whisperer and artistic director of Four Seasons hotels, Jeff Haynes-Leatham.
Guests (which included the whole Kardashian-Jenner clan, natch), were reportedly asked to wear nudes and pinks to match their surroundings, with Kourtney Kardashian looking fierce in a Legally Blonde-worthy tux jacket and the expectant mama beaming in an embroidered Sergio Hudson champagne mini dress and floor-length Sergio Hudson robe: even her mani was on theme!
After posing for breath-taking snaps in front of a (you guessed it!) PINK rose and hydrangea wall, everyone presumably headed inside to discover even more stunning details, including a cute neon sign that read ‘Baby Thompson.’ As Kim Kardashian West revealed over on Snapchat, the sign also had a sentimental touch, with the penmanship courtesy of grandma Kris Jenner.
Kylie’s BFF, Jordyn Woods, showed off the group’s dinner set-up, which consisted of clear chairs at a round table whose middle was filled to the brim with pink and peach balloons and a dazzling floral chandelier like centerpiece (seen below).
As for food, guests were privy to a sweets selection like no other, with tables upon tables of treats that ranged from sprinkle donuts to mini edible tigers and elephants.
The soon-to-be mom also offered up three very special unicorn cakes to honor the births of three of her BFFs, Malika, Khadijah Haqq, and Jen Atkins, all of which happened to fall on the same day.
Talk about a swinging party!
